MEET THE CREATOR

What inspired you to start your content creation journey?
We started experimenting with photography and videography while traveling—25 countries and counting—as a way to capture moments.
During the pandemic, we were inspired by the films we were watching and wanted to understand how to make our shots look better. That curiosity pushed us deeper into lighting, color, and editing, and we shared everything we learned in real time so others could grow with us.
Can you walk us through your early days as a content creator?
No one really talks about how hard it is to start from zero—building an audience, figuring out your style, and experimenting until something finally clicks. In the beginning, we were learning everything from scratch: how to shoot, edit, and what to post. We tried different topics, colors, and formats until we slowly started to find our creative voice. All that trial and error taught us to trust the process and enjoy creating along the way.

What was the first piece of content that gained significant attention?
Our first video that really took off was a tutorial on hacking a “step printing” effect. It was a simple breakdown of a technique we’d seen in movies and music videos. We didn’t expect it to get much traction, but it resonated with creators who were curious about leveling up their own projects. That was when we realized people were just as excited to learn as we were to experiment.

“Trust the process — experiment until something clicks.”
Who or what influences your content the most?
We get inspired by a lot of things—movies, TV, and incredible content from creators across the internet. Sometimes it’s as simple as how a shot is framed; sometimes it’s the way a story is told. We also influence each other a lot. Even though our content looks cohesive, we often have very different creative opinions, and balancing them keeps the work feeling fresh and the process fun, even when it gets messy.

What has been the biggest challenge in your journey so far?
One of our biggest challenges has been dealing with early success. A few viral posts helped us grow quickly, but with that came expectations—people wanted more of the same. While it was exciting, it also made it harder to try new things. We’ve had to learn how to balance giving our audience what they love while still exploring creative ideas that keep us inspired.
“Share only what you care about — passion shows.”
What’s been your proudest moment as a content creator?
We won’t say follower counts or partnerships aren’t meaningful—they are—but we’re most proud when a piece comes together exactly as we imagined. The story, the shots, the lighting, and the editing all aligning feels incredibly rewarding. We’re selective about what we share, so every post represents a lot of unseen experiments and attempts that didn’t make it. The work that does get shared is extra special to us.

What’s one piece of advice you’d give to someone just starting out?
Try to only put out content you care about—it shows, and it makes the process more sustainable. If you’re not excited about what you’re sharing, it may not be worth posting. Passion and curiosity go a long way as a creator.
